Sad reggae song from 90s, please help! been looking for years?

I don't know if the singer is bob marley but it kind of sounds like him, the chorus is sang by various people at the same time in a sad and deep tone, and the main singer says something out loud but sad after they sing the chorus, the chorus says something that sounds like "yancesa" (Yan-seh-sah), the song has a sad touch to it, and it is slow. please help! let me know if you need more details
